An Evening Of Films From The 2006 Geld spielt keine Rolle Short Film Festival.
The Geld spielt keine Rolle festival took place in the summer of 2006
and featured short film work from around the world including
everything from experimental cinema to documentary. "Geld spielt keine Rolle" means 'its only money' and loosely
interpreted is a statement of the festival's main focus on short films
made on very low budgets. As such the festival undoubtedly represents
one of the world's largest events aimed at showcasing the work of
grass-roots film and video makers and is a important first step-up for
many film makers towards working on larger funded productions.
This one-off London showcase of films will be a mixture of some of the
best work submitted to the festival across all genres and categories.
Those attending the event can expect a night of accidental cinema,
no-budget films and spontaneous visual experiments by new directors
from around the globe. Directors who are unwilling to incarcerate
their creativity behind commercial bars.

"Unfair Fun" at the Fovea gallery is Reynir Hutber’s first solo exhibition and will feature a variety of his recent mixed media,
installation and performance based art projects. Themes of consumer desire and social conformity are explored in a
humorous and often ambiguous fashion
pursuing both exciting and disturbing ends.
The private view will feature a live DJ set by Ben Invasion of iconscious as well as refreshments and sweet trails.
